The first season of Disney's Gargoyles came into the store yesterday, so using a 40% off coupon, I picked it up and have been watching the first disc all morning while working on homework for tomorrow's class. I find that you have to be careful with nostalgia. Sometimes those rose-colored glasses can be a little fogged-over. In this case, however, they are as clear as day.

Despite being over 10 years old, Gargoyles holds up very well. The animation is just as fluid as I remember it and the voice acting is top-notch as well. I really feel for these characters as they try to adapt to their new world. It seems treachery surrounds them at almost every turn. Maybe they should try some online chat rooms to make new friends.

So, go out and buy this series. You owe it to yourself whether you've seen it before or are checking it out for the first time.
