If your looking to kill about 90 minutes of your life with some wannabe-Godzilla style action, look no further than D-War, Dragon Wars to those of us that live in the US.

"Based on the Korean legend, unknown creatures will return and devastate the planet. Reporter Ethan Kendrick is called in to investigate the matter, and he arrives at the conclusion that a girl, stricken with a mysterious illness, named Sarah is suppose to help him. The Imoogi makes its way to Los Angeles, wreaking havoc and destruction. With the entire city under arms, will Ethan and Sarah make it in time to save the people of Los Angola's?" - stolen from IMDB

The acting is mediocre at best, though my wife did find that this cast features three people that guest-starred on "Friends," one guy was featured in "The Office" for a number of episodes, and the voice of Mirage from "The Incredibles" is also in this movie. The scenes are painfully disjointed at times, there's not a single two that flow together well. The CG "dragons" (more like snakes and reptiles) were okat in most scenes and just downright obviously not there in others. What I mean is that you could tell they were inserted into the scene. There are a LOT of plot holes (and conveniences) and things that are just plain stupid in this movie.

But you know what? I'd watch this again. It was campy, crappy, and there are a lot of problems with it, but it's one of those movies that is so bad that it's worth watching at least once. Sure, you may never find yourself giving a crap about the characters, but you'll laugh every time you hear the Wilhelm scream, or hear the same voice used for every chopper pilot during the big battle between man and "dragon."

So, if you find you have a little time to spare and find yourself curious how a snake can eat an elephant, take the time to watch "Dragon Wars." It's just dumb fun.
