I decided to clean up my half of the bedroom this afternoon. It's been a long time coming with toys and books stacked atop boxes and other stuff. So, I started with one area and worked my way towards the dresser/bookcase. It took a couple hours, but I got it to a much better point than where it was when I started.
I packed away a Tupperware bin full of Star Wars toys, including some I plan on decorating my cubicle with when the time comes. I figure it will be about 3 months until I get a place of my own at work, so these little guys can be packed away for now.
Another half-Tupperware bin was already filled with Transformers, so I filled it the rest of the way with those robots in disguise. The Wal-Mart exclusives Fracture, Breakaway, Crack Case, Big Daddy along with a number of recently-acquired Cybertron toys joined the menagerie of the bin.
Clearing out a hat box of my wife's and some Speed Racer toys from the movie I never opened that will go to Goodwill tomorrow opened up space for the storage boxes I got from work a whil eback that are filled with R2-D2 stuff. This cleared off the top of our two-drawer, seldom-used file cabinet for me to make my menagerie shelf. I tried taking apicture of it with the old camera with the busted view screen, but couldn't center it right. So, I used the newer camera that seems to dislike taking pictures indoors no matter what I do to the settings. *sigh*
So, from left to right, back row to front we have: Transformers Universe Onslaught, Transformers Universe Silverbolt, Transformers Animated Bulkhead, Red Hulk, Transformers Universe Nemesis Prime, Beast Wars Megatron, Union Jack, Silver Savage, Spiral, Xorn, Hawkgirl, Lee Scoresby (Sam Elliott from the Golden Compass), some Halo 3 dude, Black Manta, Yoda (from my '07 birthday cake), Indiana Jones & horse, Grottle, Combat Heroes Snake-Eyes and Timber.
I anticipate this display will change from time to time as new things come and old things find their way into boxes or whatever.
